Over the last 10 years the borough has created more jobs, homes, and attracted more businesses and commercial development opportunities than ever before.
Based on the Knowsley 2030 Strategy, the Economic Growth Plan will set out a clear vision for growing Knowsley’s economy and making sure that the borough’s growth benefits everyone.
What the plan will include
- A long-term vision for Knowsley’s economy, matching the ambition set out in our Knowsley 2030 Strategy.
- Clearly identified strengths of the local economy, as well as opportunities for growth.
- A plan to ensure that growth benefits everyone who lives and works in Knowsley.
Your views
The Council is seeking the views of residents, businesses and visitors to Knowsley to help to shape the plan in order to make the most of Knowsley's potential.
You can have your say on the proposals by completing the short online survey by Monday 19th of March. We will also be working with businesses and other stakeholders over the coming months to shape this strategy.
There will be opportunities to comment on the draft strategy itself in the coming months. Keep an eye on Knowsley News for further updates.
